Terms of Use for the Inland Revenue Department’s E-Tax Platform
The Inland Revenue Department (“IRD”) has established an E-Tax Platform (“the Platform”) to facilitate the online filing of Personal Income Tax (“PIT”) returns and payment of PIT amounts using credit/debit cards. All users of the Platform must adhere to the terms and conditions below to access and utilise the Platform.
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the Platform. These Terms of Use may be changed from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your use of the Platform after such changes have posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms of Use and all of the changes.
2. User Responsibilities
• You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when using the Platform.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for securing your account.
• You agree not to use the Platform for illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, identity theft, or any other unlawful conduct.
3. Privacy and Data Security

4. Restrictions on the use of materials
• Except as otherwise provided, the contents of this Platform shall not be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or otherwise distributed in any way without the prior written notice of the IRD.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the IRD does not warrant and hereby disclaims any warranty –
(i) as to the accuracy, correctness, reliability, and timeliness of the contents of this Platform.
(ii) that the content available through this Platform or any functions associated therewith will be uninterrupted or error-free.
(iii) The IRD shall also not be liable for any errors, omissions, or delays in the tax filing process or any loss or damages that may arise from your use of the Platform.
(iv) In no event shall the IRD be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Platform.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the IRD and its officers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms of Use or your use of the Platform.
7. Termination
The IRD may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms of Use or engage in any activity that may harm the IRD or other users.
8. Governing Law
The Parties shall use their best efforts to settle amicably all disputes arising out of or in connection with the services to be performed herein. Otherwise, these Terms of Use shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
